Integrate ConveyThis with your WooCommerce store by following these simple steps:

Configure Your Integration

Select WooCommerce as your website technology. Enter your domain name and indicate the languages you want to translate your website into. Click "Next" to proceed through the setup steps.

Install WordPress Plugin

Go to your WordPress admin > Plugins > Add New. Search for "ConveyThis", click "Install Now" and then "Activate". See detailed installation guide.

In the activated ConveyThis plugin, click "Get api key" to connect your account. Paste your API key, select source and target languages, and click "Save Changes".

WooCommerce translation: common questions

Which plugin do I install for WooCommerce?

The ConveyThis WordPress plugin, the same one used for any WordPress site. In WordPress go to Plugins → Add New, search for ConveyThis, click Install Now and Activate, then click Get API key, paste the key and choose your languages. The WooCommerce setup guide shows each screen.

Are products, variations, cart and checkout translated?

Yes. Product titles, descriptions, categories, tags, attributes and variation names are translated as shoppers see them, and so are the cart, checkout and account pages. New products are picked up automatically when they are published.

Will payment gateways keep working?

Yes. ConveyThis changes the text on your pages, not the way orders or payments are processed. If a gateway sends shoppers to a payment page hosted on its own site, that page is outside your store and is not translated by ConveyThis.

What do translated product URLs look like?

The plugin uses sub-directories by default, so a French product page lives at example.com/fr/product/… with no DNS change. Each language gets hreflang tags and translated titles and meta descriptions, so product pages can rank in local search results.

What does it cost for a large product catalog?

ConveyThis only counts words when a visitor actually sees them translated, and bots are excluded. That matters for a large catalog: a product nobody opens in Spanish uses no Spanish words. Stores often test on the Free plan's 5,000 words, then move to Starter ($12/month, 30,000 words, one language) or Business ($24/month, 100,000 words, three languages); the largest tiers go up to 10 million words.
