Configure Your Integration

Select JavaScript as your website technology. Enter your domain name and indicate the languages you want to translate your website into. Click "Next" to proceed through the setup steps.

Copy JavaScript Code

Copy the JavaScript code snippet that appears on your screen.

Add Code to Lovable CMS

In your Lovable CMS dashboard, navigate to your site settings and locate the custom code or script injection section. Paste the ConveyThis script into the header section before the </head> tag.

Lovable website translation: common questions

How do I translate a website built with Lovable?

Lovable builds your site as a single-page React app, so the simplest route is one script rather than rebuilding it with translation files. The ConveyThis widget translates text as the app renders it, including content that loads after the first screen and pages you reach without a full reload, and adds a language switcher.

Where does the ConveyThis snippet go in a Lovable project?

Create a ConveyThis account, enter your published domain and languages, and copy your snippet. Add it inside the <head> of your project's index.html, then publish the project again. The JavaScript setup guide shows the dashboard steps.

Does it translate content loaded from my database?

Yes, as long as it is shown on the page. Text that your app loads from its backend is translated when it appears, and your stored data stays in its original language. To keep things such as user names, order numbers or code samples untranslated, add them to the glossary or exclude the element.

Will search engines index my translated Lovable pages?

Today, Lovable apps can use the default mode or a language parameter in the URL; dedicated language sub-domains and /fr/-style folders are not yet offered for Lovable. We are building that, and the URL structure guide records the change when it lands. If multilingual search traffic is your main goal, keep this in mind.

How much does it cost?

You can launch a translated Lovable app for free: the Free plan includes 5,000 words in one language. For a bigger app, Starter is $12 a month (30,000 words, one language) and Business is $24 a month (100,000 words, three languages), with yearly plans priced at ten times the monthly fee. Usage is measured only when a visitor is shown translated text; bot traffic is not counted. Details are on the pricing page.
