Configure Your Integration

Select JavaScript as your website technology. Enter your domain name and indicate the languages you want to translate your website into. Click "Next" to proceed through the setup.

Copy JavaScript Code

Copy the JavaScript code that appears on your screen (replace "YOUR_API_KEY" with your actual API key from the dashboard).

Add to Framer Custom Code

In your Framer project, navigate to Settings > General > Custom Code and paste the ConveyThis script in the "Start of the <head> tag" section. See detailed integration guide.

Framer website translation: common questions

Can an AI tool translate my Framer website automatically?

Yes. Once the ConveyThis snippet is on your Framer site, every page is translated automatically with AI into the languages you choose, out of 210 supported languages. New sections are picked up when you publish them. You then review the wording in the visual editor, lock brand terms in the glossary, and optionally order a professional translator from the dashboard.

How is this different from Framer's own localization?

Framer's localization is managed inside your Framer project. ConveyThis works from outside it: translations are produced automatically and kept in a separate ConveyThis dashboard, so copywriters and translators can edit them without access to your Framer project, and the same account can translate sites you run on other platforms.

How do I add ConveyThis to a Framer site?

Create a ConveyThis account, choose your platform, and enter your domain and languages to get your snippet. In Framer, open Site Settings, find the custom code section, paste the snippet into the head field and publish. The language switcher appears in the bottom-right corner. The JavaScript setup guide shows the same steps with screenshots.

Will translated Framer pages get their own URLs for SEO?

Not at the moment. For Framer sites ConveyThis supports its default mode and a URL parameter for the language, but not separate sub-domains (fr.example.com) or folders (example.com/fr/). Support is in progress, and our URL structure guide is updated when it ships. If indexing every language as its own URL is your priority today, factor that in.

What does it cost to translate a Framer site?

Most Framer sites are portfolios, launch pages and small marketing sites, so many start on the Free plan: no charge, 5,000 words, one target language. When you need more, Starter runs $12 per month for 30,000 words and Business $24 per month for 100,000 words in up to three languages; pay annually and you are billed ten months instead of twelve.
