How do I install ConveyThis on WordPress?

Go to Plugins > Add New, search for ConveyThis, install and activate it. Then connect your API key, choose source and target languages, and save changes.

How do I add ConveyThis to a custom site without a CMS?

Copy the ConveyThis JavaScript snippet from your dashboard and paste it into your site code. After that, select your languages in the dashboard and the language switcher will appear.

Can I translate my Shopify store including the checkout?

Yes. Install the ConveyThis app, connect it to your store, pick your languages, and both your storefront and checkout will be translated.

How do I automatically redirect visitors to their language?

You can enable the auto redirect feature in Settings. Visitors will be shown the localized version that matches their browser language.

How can I edit machine translations?

You can use the Visual Editor to edit translations directly on your site, or you can edit strings in the Translations List. You can also manage brand terms using the Glossary.

Can I customize translated URLs?

Yes. On Business plans and higher, you can customize URL structure for localized pages when using WordPress or subdomain integration.

Can I add team members and assign roles?

Yes. On Pro plans and higher you can invite team members and assign roles such as Translator, Manager, or Admin to manage permissions.

How do I update my payment method or billing info?

Log in to your ConveyThis account, go to Billing, and update your payment details or replace your card. Save changes to apply them.

How to Upgrade Your ConveyThis Plan

Upgrading your ConveyThis plan

You can move to a larger plan at any time, from the Free plan or from one paid plan to another.

Follow these steps:

Click Change Plan at the top of your dashboard.

Choose Your Plan

Paid Plan: Keep your integrations and features, and enjoy a higher monthly translation limit.

Payment Options: Choose between a monthly rate or a discounted annual rate.

Free Plan: Translates up to 5,000 words into one language on one website.

Review and Confirm

On the confirmation page, review your current plan and the new plan.

Set overages for credit usage:

Disable Auto-upgrade: Stop translating new words when the limit hits.
Enable Auto-upgrade: Continue translating new words on your website when the quota is reached.

Billing Information

If you already have a card on file, it will appear in the Billing Details section.

To add or change the card, click Edit Billing Details.

Enter your credit card information, country, and postal/zip code.
Agree to the Terms and Conditions and acknowledge the Privacy Policy before saving the card.
Note: ConveyThis does not store your credit card information in-house; it is securely stored with our payment processor, Paddle or Stripe.

Finalize Your Change

Click Confirm Plan Change at the bottom of the screen to finalize your upgrade.

Your new plan applies immediately.
